The all-around radio and TV veteran, who we all know and love as the cheeky host of the Today show, has shed a staggering amount of weight - and it's got everyone talking!

After tipping the scales at 105 kg in 2020, Karl announced to viewers of the morning show that he was embarking on a 10-week weight-loss journey with a goal to reach 90 kg by the end. And boy, did he deliver!

But how did Karl manage to pull off such an impressive feat, you ask? Well, it turns out that he owes his newfound physique to a cutting-edge health and wellness plan called Interval Weight Loss.

Formulated by leading obesity expert Dr Nick Fuller, this revolutionary plan teaches your brain to lose weight sustainably by setting achievable goals, rather than trying to drop kilos in one fell swoop.

Dr Fuller explains that the plan is not a quick fix, but rather helps you lose weight in small steps to prevent weight regain

According to Dr Fuller, Karl's diet includes a large breakfast and lunch, followed by a more moderate, healthy dinner. And don't worry - this isn't one of those fad diets where you're constantly starving yourself!

Karl's been chowing down on plenty of delicious wholegrain carbs, like oats, brown rice, and buttered wholegrain toast, as well as oodles of protein, healthy fats (hello, avocado!), and of course, loads of salads and veggies.

What about 'cheat meals'; are they allowed? Well, Dr Fuller has explained that they're totally allowed - as long as they're consumed in moderation.

So if you're under the program, you can indulge in that slice of pizza or chocolate bar every once in a while - just make sure to balance it out with plenty of wholesome, nutritious foods the rest of the time.

We know that maintaining a healthy weight or shedding those extra kilos can be tough, especially as we get older. Unhealthy habits, a lack of physical activity, poor food choices, and pesky metabolic changes can all make it harder to stay in tip-top shape after the age of 50.

But don't worry! Making a few simple adjustments to your lifestyle can make all the difference. Whether you're dealing with physical limitations or medical issues, it's never too late to start on the path to a healthier you.

With the right mindset and a bit of determination, anyone can lose weight and improve their overall health - no matter what their age or physical condition may be.

We've all heard the saying that to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you take in - and it's absolutely true! That's why it's important to stay active throughout the day if you're looking to shed some excess body fat.

A sedentary lifestyle could be doing more harm than good. By taking a five-minute walk every hour, you can become more active at work and give your weight loss journey a much-needed boost.

You don't have to start with an insane number of steps right off the bat. Begin with a realistic goal based on your current activity levels, then work your way up to 7,000-10,000 steps per day or more - depending on your overall health and fitness goals.

So let's lace up those sneakers and start stepping towards a healthier, happier you!

Are you tired of feeling like you have no control over what goes into your meals? If so, cooking at home could be the solution for you!

Research has shown that those who prepare and eat more meals at home tend to have a healthier diet and maintain a lower weight than those who don't. Why?

Well, cooking at home allows you to be in charge of every ingredient that goes into your dishes - so you can ditch the additives and preservatives that come with pre-packaged and restaurant meals.

Plus, cooking at home also gives you the freedom to experiment with unique and healthy ingredients that you might not otherwise try. So why not start with just one or two home-cooked meals per week and gradually work your way up to cooking at home more than you eat out?

And if you're looking for some healthy and delicious recipe ideas to get started, be sure to check out the Cooking and Recipes forum on the SDC website.

Another great tip is to cut out added sugars from your diet. These sneaky little additives can contribute to weight gain and a host of other health issues. Instead, try to focus on whole, unprocessed foods and natural sources of sweetness like fruit.

Regular exercise is also key to maintaining a healthy weight. Even just a few minutes of activity each day can make a big difference in your overall health and energy levels.

And when it comes to your diet, incorporating more protein and whole foods can help you feel fuller for longer, and avoid overeating. So why not swap out processed snacks for protein-rich nuts or veggies with hummus?

Of course, everyone's body is different, so it's always a good idea to consult with a doctor or dietitian before making any major changes to your lifestyle. They can help you find a personalised approach that works best for your needs, lifestyle, and health condition.

To stay motivated, setting small achievable goals and tracking your progress can make a huge difference. As for cheat days, they can be okay in moderation, but overindulgence might slow your progress. Regarding keto and intermittent fasting, both can work well. Remember, individual responses vary. Research thoroughly before choosing. By the way, if you're looking for supplements, you might want to buy anavar online.
