Is the rise of 'King William’ tearing the Royal Family apart’?

As the sun sets on one era and the dawn of another approaches, the Royal Family finds itself at the heart of speculation and uncertainty.

The whispers of 'King William' echo through the corridors of Buckingham Palace, stirring up a tempest that threatens to shake the monarchy's very foundations.

In April, palace officials revisited plans for King Charles' eventual funeral, codenamed Operation Menai Bridge, sparking a flurry of concern.

The health of the monarch has been a topic of hushed conversations, and the notion of Prince William ascending the throne as King William V sooner than anticipated has sent ripples of disquiet throughout the royal household.

A report from The Daily Beast, titled 'Secret Plans for King Charles’ Death Are Already Tearing the Royal Family Apart’, reported the 'planning and positioning' for Prince William's potential reign has reportedly begun in earnest, despite King Charles appearing to be in relatively good health.

The idea of 'King William' has seemingly put everyone on edge.

There have been ‘moments this year’ when the royal courtiers, family members, and aides have been gripped by a wave of 'what-happens-now horror and doubt’, particularly during instances of King Charles' health scares.

The courtiers and aides, perhaps still reeling from Queen Elizabeth's abrupt dismissal of her staff upon her passing, are said to be anxiously contemplating their future roles and quietly polishing their resumes in anticipation of another seismic shift within the palace walls.

The Royal Family dynamics are also under the microscope, with Prince Harry's estrangement casting a long shadow over future reconciliations.

A report suggested that once Prince William takes the throne, the door for Harry's return may close.

Meanwhile, Queen Camilla's position appears precarious; while she has been 'tolerated' by Prince William but ‘never liked, let alone loved’.

The question of her residence and financial security post-Charles is a topic of fervent speculation.

Rumours swirl about King Charles' desire for Prince Andrew to vacate the Royal Lodge to make way for Camilla—a plan that Prince Andrew is reportedly resisting, betting that it will be a low priority for William once he is king.

Charles possible ascension to the throne was brought about by his grandfather’s brother abdicating so that he could marry a divorcee. Charles is married to a divorcee thereby making him ineligible to be the monarch and defender of the faith. William is the rightful king now not when Charles dies.
The rules have changed… or haven’t you kept up with the times…. Besides… he was not the divorcee… he was going to marry one… stop clutching at straws.

Don't split hairs, he was a divorcee.
"A divorcee is a person who has been divorced, whose marriage has been legally dissolved before death, ended in divorce"

Oh my goodness the thought of getting a trump terrifies me. At least the royals don’t stick their noses into our countries business
Yes they do.

Who appointed John Kerr, the Governor-General of Australia at the time of the dismissal of Gough Whitlam? Queen Elizabeth II!!!

Don't forget the "Palace Letters", which was a set of correspondence between Kerr, the Queen and Martin Charteris, the Queen's private secretary, regarding the dismissal of Whitlam.

Unfortunately, this correspondence was held by the National Archives until 29 May 2020 when a decision by the High Court held that the "Palace Letters" are "Commonwealth records" (not personal property) and therefore available for public release under the provisions of the Archives Act 1983.

So the British monarchy has and still will stick their fingers in the pie of Australia's affairs.

A royal family has no political agenda and is therefore better to rule a country. If we were a republic we would have constant bickering as to who wouldl rule and people like Trump would get to say what they want and not what the people want.

The British government does everything in the name of the king or Queen but that does not mean they actually have a say. They sign what's put in front of them, even the speeches to parliament. If you watched the expressions on the queen's face when reading some of these speeches you would know she was not the writer, nor did she like what she was made to say. The Palace Letters would have gone through both the British and Australian governments and she, the Queen, would have been told to sign - fact.

Does that imply that she was coerced? 🤔

Though she had enough power to appoint successive Governor-Generals.

The UK monarchy has no place in Australia's politics or society. They should concentrate on their own mess in the UK.
What don't you get about the crown has no power? They are figure heads, it's the government of the day that makes decisions. It's the government in London who says Scotland can't hold a referendum about ceceding, and they have wanted to become fully independent for decades but are not allowed, as yet, to ask Scottish people about ceceding. The queen actually stated that if Australia wanted to ceced they should be allowed to do so, nut you just want an argument without acknowledging the facts. Or are you just happy to tread on toes even when you are so wrong?

I stated that the monarchy has power in Australia's affairs by appointing successive Governor-Generals. Never have I stated that that the monarchy has no power.

Selective reading or lack of comprehension?

I guess you're talking about yourself with your last sentence. This is my last post on the subject, a person who refuses to listen/ read/ comprehend is a total waste of one's time.
