The alert advised ‘to Avoid areas where protests are occurring due to the potential for disruption and violence. '

The terrorism threat level in the UK, which encompasses England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, has been classified as 'substantial.' This is the third-highest threat level on a five-tier scale, indicating an attack is 'likely.'
The situation has become so concerning that Nigeria has also issued a travel alert for the UK, advising its citizens to be 'extra-vigilant' amidst the heightened threat.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has commented on the unrest, emphasising the need to de-escalate political tensions.
‘When I look at what has occurred—the vision in the United Kingdom in recent days—it breaks your heart to see that anger from so many people,’ he reflected.
In a decisive move to address the chaos, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced the formation of a 'standing army' to be deployed to quell the riots.
Approximately 378 individuals have been arrested in connection with the disturbances.
