Hi Everyone,

My name is Debbie , I’m 63 and a widow… I live in Blacktown a suburb of Sydney with my 2 stepsons and 5 cats. I lost my mother last year along with my husband so it’s been a struggle for me but I keep going.

I’m very interested in making a doll house so this is a new hobby for me to start apart from this, I like to crotchet , knit, paint and make jewellery.

I have 4 beautiful children two girls and two boys and with this I have ten grandchildren so I’m blessed.

I have traveled to many countries but my biggest achievement was to travel to Europe by myself last year and do the River Rhine cruise where I met three lovely couples who looked after me whilst I was there. This was my husband and my dream but unfortunately he didn’t make it…

Your new dollhouse hobby sounds like such a creative and rewarding project! With your talents in crochet, knitting, painting, and jewellery making, I can imagine it will be beautifully detailed.

Traveling to Europe and doing the Rhine River cruise on your own is such an incredible achievement. It’s wonderful that you were able to experience that dream, even though your husband couldn’t be there with you. It must have been a bittersweet but memorable journey.

Good day fellow OZies. My name is Tedd and I am a fresh as a daisy member. Hailed from south eastern part of Melbourne, foothills to Mount Dandenong where it is beautiful one day and perfect the next. Have a daughter and a son, both happily married [i think]. Me and my wife are blessed with 4 beautiful grandsons and a granddaughter. Eldest being 8 years and youngest 2 year young. We are retirees and babysitting is our pass time. It’s taking a toll on us recently and slowly pushing responsibilities back to their parents. Besides, I recently had a triple bypass operation and still on recovery mode. An excuse to have sick leave.?
Looking forward for an exciting time in this new found club.
