I really do enjoy reading all this information. Maybe I should write more.

I have had an awful experience with a romantic scammer that caused so much heartache, I was so embarrassed I tried suicide.

I have come out at the end but it was tough to deal with. I would love to know how to tell my story to prevent others going through the same thing.

Oh my goodness, @deannelindsay! That's just heartbreaking... I'm SO sorry that you went through that. I think scammers in general are unforgivable and downright cruel but to play with someone's feelings? That's just on another level of evil. Please know that this isn't your fault, so there's absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about. You seem like such a kind soul, and you definitely did NOT deserve to be treated that way! Feel free to talk about anything you wish with us here in the forum if it helps. We're always here for the members and aim to make the SDC a safe space for everyone ❤️
