Being a pensioner I recently lost $9,000 cash on the way to the bank hubby and had $2,000 taken from our account so hubby said let's take the rest of the money out of the bank we had it at home for a while when I convinced him to put it back into the bank offI go to the bank which wasn't yet open so I did some other shopping. I had a phone call and had to go straight home without going to the bank ,it wasn't until the next day that I hadn't got to the bank and I honestly don't know where our money is so I have obviously put the shopping bag that the cash was in down when I went into one of the shops I have been so forgettable lately I did have a clue where I left it but someone got a nice surprise when they opened the bag up I did go to the police station to see if it had been handed in but no one had we are stupid old people

I'm sorry this happened to you. Maybe someone picked up the bag and handed it in at the checkout without looking through it. If you haven't already checked, maybe you should. Don't accept the 1st negative answer. I was told my bank card wasn't in their lost and found drawer. On second check it was found on the side of the tray. I had already blocked the card and suffered no loss - because it was in the drawer!
Good luck. Miracles do happen.

Why on earth would you take all of that money out in the 1st place?
What an awful thing to happen and what a shock .lt happened to me when l left a teller machine l thought wasn't working properly and left then it paid out. A nice person took the money into my bank.l couldn't wait to thank and reward her for her honesty so don't give up hoping you just never know
Sorry Ebby, I hit the wrong emoji. I wanted it to go on "Crestwood96" post. You were certainly lucky indeed to have yours returned.
