Humble mash potatoes

1-potatoes depending on family size
2-milk
3-butter
4-cheese
5-salt+pepper
6-mixed herbs

Boil potatoes if using micro at least 4-5 mins at least if using stove. Use a fork to test for tenderness.
Use a masher to mash the potatoes till there are no lumps.
Ad milk at least 4 tablespoons if feeding 4 people 1 teaspoon of butter stirring until smooth ad 1slice of cheese (tasty)a pinch of salt and pepper then a pinch of mix herbs. Use a fork or spoon and stire all ingredients together. Put in microwave for at least 30 seconds to 1min. Then serve. Please note that this is a rough guide use intuitive

I make shepherds pie.

Omg I remember the old wollies cafeteria at town hall. Also those large glass drink things that had juice in one and chocolate milk in the other.
They still have the cafeteria upstairs only 1/4 of the size but I think they have kept original seats
 
I would eat it every day . The spud us my favourite vegie.
Have you tried mashing potato and pumpkin together that is really good as well 🥰
Or potato and cauliflower mash, potato mash with very finely chopped onion - add the onion when you're mashing the potatoes - or potato mashed with cooked carrot & cabbage with fresh or dried mint served with a rich gravy 😋😋😋
