This is a 3 ingredient nearly a bounty bar



3-ingredient homemade ‘Bounty’ bars


Ingredients:



  • 340g (4 cups) desiccated coconut
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 x 180g block of milk chocolate I use Cadbury but any is just as good

    METHOD:
    Step 1
    Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place coconut and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl and stir until well combined.

    Step 2
    Shape mixture into 5cm logs. Transfer to prepared tray. Place in the fridge until firm.

    Step 3
    Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High for 1 minute, stirring halfway, until melted and smooth.

    Step 4
    Using two forks, dip each each coconut bar in chocolate until coated, allowing excess to drip back into bowl.
    Step 5
    Return to tray and place in fridge until set. Serve

  • Makes 15
  • Store in an air tight container for upto 3 days
  • Sorry no preservatives which is why it only keeps for 3 days

Are there any substitutes for the dessicated coconuts? I love anything covered in chocolate 🤣
