My dear husband could be Bill but unlikely to share the same fate. He is terrible at remembering dates, has no idea when his own mothers birthday is but it is apparently sometime in February, If I want a birthday card for my birthday I have to remind him when it is coming up, otherwise I just buy myself something and tell him it is my birthday present, which he happily acknowledges then, he has absolutely zero romantic ideas but makes up for it in other ways, sigh!!

That's sad 😔 do you give him a hard or gift for his birthday
I always gave him a present for his birthday, Christmas and our anniversary. He never remembered to get presents for the children either. I also had to remember presents for his mother and siblings birthdays as he just didn't care I eventually got rid of him and he has now been deceased for quite a number of years after using up all his de facto's money.
