Are you tired of peeling potatoes by hand, taking up much of your time?
Believe it or not, there’s a better way!
A social media personality recently revealed her trick for peeling potatoes without all the effort and mess.
'I was today years old…' Amanda D’Alfonso began in her video posted on social media.
She grabbed some raw potatoes and sliced an incision in the centre of each using a knife.
Once they were ready, she boiled them in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes.
When the potatoes were soft and ready, she pulled them out with a fork.
The potato skins were falling off without any additional effort!
This trick made the task of mashing potatoes and serving over dinner easier.
Her video captioned, ‘Never peel a potato again!’
Fans were amazed by the kitchen guru’s discovery.
'No more scrapped knuckles from the peeler?!' one commenter wrote.
Another exclaimed, 'YOU MEAN I DON’T HAVE TO SPEND 15 MINUTES PEELING?!!'
Amanda’s social media is dedicated to kitchen tips and tricks, home organisation and styling. So, the potato trick was one of the fan favourites.

The kitchen guru then demonstrated her garlic storage trick shortly after her potato video made rounds, which was enough to create another buzz among her viewers.
‘Never peel or chop garlic again!’ her video caption said.
Amanda’s technique suggested storing garlic in bulk—adding cloves of garlic to a blender with some extra virgin olive oil and blending ‘together until you have your desired consistency’.
She made another minced garlic batch that she then stored in an ice cube tray, which can be frozen for up to six months or refrigerated for up to four weeks.
‘Refrigerated lasts 3-4 weeks,’ she said in the caption, and added that ‘Frozen lasts 6 months’.
