Grandkids Slang: 'Periodt'

Don't be lost on all the new lingo of the younger generation. We'll help you dissect what they mean and have fun while doing it! For today's ‘What Would The Grandkids Say?’ segment, we're tackling the term ‘periodt’. It's used to emphasise the finality of the statement. You could say something like: 'I make the best lamingtons in town, periodt.' What about you? How would you use 'periodt' in everyday life? Share it in this thread.

The funniest thing my grand-daughter wrote in an essay at school which we read later was '' My dad was really mad when nan made some Yorkshire Puddings and they were bigger than his'' Michael and l were thinking as to what else she may have said :giggle: :giggle:

We took two of our toddler grand kids for a drive in the country.
When we drove past a field where the cows were congregated around a tree. I said, look, the cows are having a meeting.
The kids argued they were not cows. Why? Because they were not black and white like the pictures on the milk cartons.
Tiny city slickers.
