Welcome! I've always thought 3D printing is so fascinating. Do you have any pictures of things you've printed?

I do have a few samples
This was a puzzle box for my Granddaughters. Slip some money inside, close it and it keeps them quiet for a while on Christmas day

The stand takes a 10" tablet, the cover as for a small speed controller. The ocarina actually plays. The garlic keeper really keeps the garlic for longer. The dry box conversion keeps the filament dry as when it absorbs moisture it does not print well. I use the cyclone on my CNC machine to not only keep the dust down but it stops the filter on my Vacuum system from clogging so often. Shaun is just a way of keeping a spare toilet roll looking better. The center finders are useful for finding the center of anything round. and finally the gauge lets you draw parallel line on a piece of timber. It also lets you use those left over pencils from your Ikea visit.

This is so crazy cool! How do you think of what to print though? And where do you find the designs?

Some I design myself. I spent over 20 years building research equipment at a University so have had plenty of experience. For others the Internet . Sites such as Thingiverse and Inventables and many others have an unlimited selection to choose from.

Well I'm really impressed. Have you ever tried one of those 3D printing pens?

Yes I have. I use one for repairing broken plastic objects. Much better than glue. I wouldn't try and use it for greating things. I am not really an artist or sculptor. At about $12.00 direct from China it is also a lot cheaper than specialist plastic adhesives.
