General Discussion Thread 28.03.2025

Rise and shine! We’ve made it through yet another week, and I must say, it does feel good to have the weekend peeking around the corner. Now, here’s something to spark your imagination. If you could live in any fictional world for a day, which one would it be?

As for me, I’d choose Narnia. There’s just something about stepping through a wardrobe into a land of magic, talking animals, and grand adventures that feels utterly enchanting.

Would you explore the magical halls of Hogwarts, sail the high seas with a crew of adventurers, or maybe experience life in a futuristic utopia? We’d love to know here!

I would like to go over the rainbow bridge and meet up with all the dogs that have gone there when they have passed away.

On board for the pirate ship from the book Adventure Island.
What a rollicking adventure that would be 🏴‍☠️

Away from the madden crowds to a peaceful place with the original Mary Poppins.

I'd love to go back into different times in history to see what it really was like e.g. 18th century.

A fictional world for a day?
New York, 1957.
Outside Deborah Kerr’s apartment so I can give her the taxi fare to get to the top of the Empire State building to meet Cary Grant.

So romantic. A beautiful film with two of my favourite stars.
