One would hope that most Americans have enough sense to see how “cognitively deficient” trump has become and vote for Kamala. Saying that there seems to be a lot who are so brainwashed they can’t or don’t want to see. Lets hope for the sake of not only the Americans but the rest of the world too that trump doesn’t get elected.

What is on my mind today? The answer to that is, the result if the Queensland election. Now we will see the wasting of money by the dismantling of the past governments projects, sacking of people in government jobs in order to reward those who are seen to be or have been of help to the incoming government. All the renaming of political documents, and changing of anything which smacks of Labor. Every time government changes hands, regardless of which major party comes into power, we see enormous waste of Tax payers money. Major issues get put on the back burner, so that pressing needs are seldom met.

Totally agree. How often in our long lives do we see the same thing happening - one party is elected for so long then a change of party occurs and good projects from the first party are then cancelled or downsized. Many years ago in NSW the government at the time closed many hospital beds, reduced staff in many departments and saved some money. Then a few years later they were bemoaning the fact that waiting lists for elective surgery were too long and it was difficult to recruit staff. People were waiting in emergency departments for too long and no beds were available. I personally know of an elderly man on the Central Coast who went to Emergency with chest pain and a few hours later was sent home in the middle of winter to his equally elderly wife at 3am in the morning. Is this good care? No it is heartless and unnecessarily cruel. Health systems around the country need an injection of funds urgently.
