trivia questions are typed in black on a dark blue background and I cannot read it. It is very frustrating. I can read the various answers that I have to choose from but I cannot read the question. could you please alter one or the other!!!
I have asked the same question several times but still the same.

Thats terrible! Could someone in the family pick them up for you?. Sorry to hear you are bedbound
What a rotten thing to happen, especially feeling for you being bed-bound, I was recently housebound for a few weeks, I found that chemist warehouse delivered my medications for free, believe terry white pharmacies deliver at no cost as well. If possible try ringing all chemists in your area, also if you have a care package in place they should be able to help. Again this is big business making big profits at the expense of those of us who are unwell and struggling to make ends meet, most medicines have over 55% markup before they even get on the shelves

I find the Lidia Thorpe saga intriguing and cant see how she cant be dismissed for such shocking behavior which doesn’t mirror the feelings of the majority of Australians. It should be a no brainer that she does not represent our country in the proper manner. Could you comprehend if we interrupted the Call to Country when performed prior to the game, the indigenous people (for whom I am one) would be so up in arms and calling for heads. Does anyone agree with me?
Why is it that all these part "biracial" Indigenous are all small minded mouthy bastards, there doesn't seem to be any of that are full-blooded. I myself am of mixed blood but I don't expect any preferential treatment.

Am I the only one feeling extorted by my pharmacy or are there others?
I don't mind paying the full reduced, PSB fee on my medication scripts, even though many other pharmacists reduce them.

Earlier this year they started adding a $5 delivery fee, which sounded fair (even though I live 2 blocks away).

Recently, they added a $5 charge for each blister pack (more than $20 per month). I thought of packing the blister packs myself, but because I am bedbound I will require the medication to be delivered. This could result in well over the $20 fee, so I scrapped that idea.

I phoned another pharmacist in the area who charges $15 per delivery; due to being further away.
Now I'm paying over $300 per year more, just for the blister packs (excluding the medication costs).
Is this the norm now?
Sorry to hear you are bedbound, SDC must be a great comfort for you, I hope you have Good Helpers to make life a bit easier for you, God bless you.

Here in Queensland Webster packing is free at my pharmacy. How long that may continue is anyone's guess.I also hit my PBS limit in June so for 6 months I get free medicine.I am very lucky but I do have to pay my doctor heaps to see her but I get most of it back from Medicare.

Why can't they deliver 2 weeks supply fortnightly instead of 1 per week the same as 2 pharmacies in this area do? or better still give you 4 in one delivery? I get free delivery once a fortnight. Admittedly some of my neighbours and others nearby get deliveries too.

Thanks, but no, I don't have family living in the same city as me, and sadly, all my friends who have helped in the past have either moved or are in a similar position themselves.

The thing is no one is stopping her from going bush and living her life the way her ancestors did before European settlement. (Mind you I suggest that she has more European ancestry than indigenous.) Ah but wait....what IS stopping her is the over $200k salary she receives from the very establishment she so hates. She's a hypocrite and an embarrassment.
DITTO....hippocryt, partial aboriginal, cashing in...nothing stopping her from contributing to some poor aborigonal family if she is so disgusted

They do deliver all four together, but still charge the $25 fee.

If you are bedbound, do you have a homecare package? If you do ask the carer to collect your scripts seeing you are so close. Also wondering if the extra costs will bring free medications forward earlier. Might be worth asking the chemist.💐

Most of my homecare package is still on hold, even though I was accepted over 11 months ago. This does include a carer, but I'm still charged for blister packs.
Yes, I do get meds on PSB and they've been free since July/August... just shows how much he is making from the sale of my meds if the cutoff is $1, 600 - and that's scripts only, it cannot include service or over the counter purchases!

I believe that if more so-called indiginous people would stop rorting the system we would get on better together as a whole nation. In my experience the people with the least indiginous blood are the ones spoiling everyone else's living together. I live wirth neighbours both genuine indiginous and the ones with the least connection and it is obvious which ones are spoiling life for everybody else!!

Sorry to hear that you are waiting for assistance that you deserve. I have dealt with homecare package may times on behalf of elderly friends and neighbors. If you already have a provider, they should be able to give Aged Care a push. If you don't have a provider already it is best to get one organized so they can advocate for you. Hope it is sorted for you soon.
