General Discussion Thread - 10.10.2025 PM

Hi, lovelies! 🌼 Can you feel it? Spring’s in full swing now—the kind of spring that feels like a promise. The sun’s warming up (finally!), the air smells like jasmine and fresh cut grass, and I swear the birds have been extra chatty lately. My laundry’s drying faster, I’ve opened the windows wider, and the afternoon light has that glow that makes everything look a bit more hopeful.

The other day, I found myself lingering outside longer than usual—just standing there, watching the leaves sway and thinking, this feels nice. And you know what? Sometimes 'this feels nice' is more than enough. This season softens the rush and reminds me to slow down and notice again.

So I’ve been leaning into that feeling... Lighter meals, sunnier playlists, a new plant I’m trying very hard not to kill (pray for it 😅). It all adds up to that sense of starting fresh, even in the smallest ways.

Spring honestly reminds me of this song. Source: ELO / Youtube.

Which got me wondering: What’s something that’s quietly 'blooming' in your life right now? It could be a new habit, a little joy, or a shift in energy that’s making your days brighter. I’d love to hear about it—drop it in the forum so we can celebrate the little things together. 🌿

Now, pour that Friday arvo cuppa, maybe pull your chair a little closer to the window, and let’s enjoy today’s sunshine! Slow, warm, and exactly what we need. 💛

Hi. Blooming on my balcony are beautiful petunias. I have planted sunflower seeds so hopefully some lovely sunflowers. Just love my pot plants.

How beautiful. Whereabouts do you live? I wouldn't even know where to get an orchid seedling from.

Thanks very much. I live in Queensland. Lots of places sell orchids - Bunnings, even supermarkets.
