G'day from lockdown...

G'day everyone. I'm a 77 y o bloke, married 50 years next month. We live in Melbourne and are still in lockdown.
I enjoy riding my bike with a group of oldies. Can't do that at the moment.
Lead a fairly active social life with the same group. Can't do that either at the moment.
I enjoy doing the daily puzzles with Seniors Online Victoria.
And I love movies. Have quite a collection of DVDs.
Enough about me. I will enjoy reading about others and their pursuits.

Welcome @Placid and congrats on the 50 years of marriage - that's bloody impressive. It's a shame the big day might come during lockdown though :(

Have you got anything special planned?

Wow, well done to both of you... What's the secret?
Pick the right one the first time...:ROFLMAO:
I'd be lost without my dear Lorraine, she's my carer as well. I've had multiple spinal surgeries and live in constant pain. She gives me my injections when I need one. As well as all the other things she does for me.

Hi again Ron, just saw you mention your spine pain, I have bone degeneration & Scoliosis. I've had injections into spine about 4 times, nerve root sleeve, they work for a few months in that they ease the pain somewhat but nothing rids me of it completely. My bones are pretty well shot. But I try to keep as active as possible whilst able. My sister is the same. We both got this from our Dad. Anyway just to say I know how you must feel, even if partially. Not fun but have to keep smiling & positive. All the best.

Maybe just a picnic with the two of you as a backup plan? Though depending on where you are, you might have to wear masks in between wine sips :(
