French coconut pie scrumptious

Description​

This is a recipe passed down to me from my great grandmother Pearl. I absolutely love this pie and I hope you do too!

Ingredients​

  • 3 whole Eggs, Beaten
  • 1-½ cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Flaked Coconut
  • 1 stick Butter, Melted
  • 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 whole 9" Uncooked Pie Shell

Preparation Instructions​

Mix filling ingredients well and pour into the pie shell. Bake at 350F (176°C) for 1 hour.

You cook and you should know how wrong this is.

If anyone made this recipe as she posted it won't turn out.

Is that fair that people waste their time and money ?

I've seen others make more scathing comments including yourself.

Maybe have a private conversation with your buddy and tell her to actually make the recipe before ever posting it.

Maybe tell HER to be nicer to people who ask a question about the recipe. Australians do not know what a stick of butter is !!

Nice recipe BB but l why the vinegar ? Take no notice of Jo she's having a bad day 🤣 🤣
I like most of BB recipes, but wish they'd be converted before posting as there's more than me who are "recipe addicts". Actually I have copies of ALL weights, measures and temps converted on charts for quick references, but that's me. Not everyone has done this, so it would help many others if the conversions were done prior to posting for their sake. I'm ALL GOOD thank you SE.:giggle:
