Sam made the announcement on her Instagram profile, writing, 'A little “news” from me for 2023: I’ve made a decision to farewell the Something to Talk About podcast this year. I’ve chatted and interviewed my way through the past two years... and loved every minute.'

Fans of the podcast took to the comments section, expressing their sadness at the news.

'Oh no! I love your podcast. You’ll be sorely missed in my ears. Looking forward to following your next awaiting adventure,' one fan wrote.

'The moment I first saw Sammy I thought “there’s my girl”,' Richard said on the show.

The couple said that they were 'very lucky' to have found each other, and Sam has been only too happy to pass on her advice to the show’s hopefuls.

'In my experience, it’s really nice when you move to the country, which I did last year, for love,' Sam said.

'You’ve really got to be a team with a farmer. It’s more than just the average job in the city. It’s a lifestyle.'
