No, don't just Delete (I haven't seen this one yet, had ones purporting to be about unpaid tolls (Linkt), undeliverable item (AusPost) and Woolies reward points). First, take a screenshot, then Block the number (that will delete the sms and prevent further text messages from that number), then Report the attempted scam to scamwatch (upload a copy of the screenshot you took when doing this). Then delete the screenshot.

I just disputed a false transaction on my bank account that almost deleted my account not even leaving me enough for my pills. Good job I have cash in the purse as I had to cancel the debit card. & I wont get the money back till it goes through & I dispute it. I thought that the bank could just cancel the transaction but no it has to go through & I have to submit a dispute. I am sick & tired with having to add a new card to my PayPal account.

I keep receiving a message from a supposed toll company.

States, payment issue alert! Please pay your toll at htpps//link . and a bit more rubbish after that .

I dot even use tollways at the moment and have a Linkt account.
Beware.

I know how you feel, & they always come in during the early hours of the morning. We don’t have tolls in Tassie.

That flu one looks pretty legit, if of course you live near the cited clinic addresses.
The legit ones are much the same, except they don't have links to book appointments, they are just reminders that it's due and say 'contact your GP'. As a general rule, I never click on ANY links in emails without thoroughly checking that it's legit first, especially the source number or address.

Yes same here
We have a Linkt Account as well so it’s so easy to check but we haven’t used any tunnels for awhile either

I was told not to "reply STOP to opt out" as they know it's an active number and sell it. Just block the number, report and delete it.
