My son picked us up unexpectedly and took us out on his boat from Watson's Bay to Sydney Harbour.

This was the 9pm fireworks. Sydney harbour really is magnificent.

Melbourne’s fireworks as usual were so boring and the dills yapping on were cringeworthy horrible people. So it was back to my cop shows on flix for the night.

We didn't stay for the midnight ones. I wasn't expecting to be out on the water. It was good spending time with my nephew who is a troubled boy
