RACV have a service where they post your request.They vet the replies, arrange a quote. they have a price ceiling for each service. If you accept the quote and have the service, RACV sends you an invoice. they guarantee the job. This is in addition to their emergency assist program.

I’m going to look into the RAA to determine if they have similar - sounds wonderful, and safe!

Yes, we are getting that now, we applied for it October 2024 and DVA only allows us 1 hour 15 minutes every four weeks and when I was getting desperate because the "grass was tickling my a**e" I needed someone until we were approved. But we still need someone, who we now have to do the off fortnight that DVA thinks the grass does not grow. Thank you for thinking of my dilemma. It is very much appreciated.

I have found that site called HIPAGES is excellent for finding tradies in your own area - they post your job & the tradies who are signed up to this site will answer your post & offer their services!
