Finding Tradies
My husband has been ill of late even to the point of spending a couple of weeks in the hospital. Due to this he has been unable to do some of the basic chores around the yard, and although I used to do them we no longer have the easy start/hill climbing lawn mower any more. To cut a long story short I went to the Yellow Pages and sent messages to two ads requesting calls, which the website tells you that they will get back to you in 24 hours.

So when the kid turned up to do the monthly pool service I offered him $100 to mow the lawn. To my shock, he said he didn't know how to, he'd never done it before.
Okay, I'm trying to find a certain chair to match one I already have and after a lot of googling etc. I end up on Gumtree, and you will never believe this but I found a Lawn Mower Guy who lives in my own suburb. Am I the only one a. having trouble getting tradespeople and b. shocked at where they are advertising
