Fact of the day: Male penguins propose to female penguins with a pebble​

Penguins propose to their mates with a pebble! Male penguins often gift a smooth pebble to the female as a way to say ‘Will you be mine?’ These pebbles are highly prized because they’re used to build cosy nests.
