Now, if you’re wondering, 'What on earth is Pho?', let's embark on a quick culinary adventure.

Hailing from the streets of Vietnam, Pho is a soup with complex flavours and light yet hearty ingredients.

Traditionally, this dish would bubble away on stoves for hours to achieve that rich, savoury broth which is then accompanied by meat, veggies, and rice noodles. But with our fast-paced lives, waiting that long for a meal is practically out of the question!

Enter ALDI with its quick solution: the instant Pho Bowl.

One innovative shopper and ALDI fan decided to amplify the flavour of this instant soup.

She posted her find on the ALDI Fans Australia Facebook page, where she shared her sizzling lunch idea.

'Oh, boy!! This Pho Bowl is AMAZING!!!' she exclaimed, not shying away from letting her excitement bubble over.

Adding a twist of creativity, she sprinkled the Pho bowl with broccolini and diced roast chicken, whipping up an unbeatable delight in just under a few minutes.

But wait, the cherry on the top was yet to come.

'I'm going back tomorrow to stock up. The best part—it's $1.99!!!' she continued.

This bargain sent ALDI followers into a frenzy, leading to a surge of ALDI goers eager to bag this limited-time product.

A generous handful of ALDI enthusiasts, who had already taken the Pho Bowl for a spin, chimed in agreement that it was 'very good' for the price and could be jazzed up with a variety of add-on ingredients.

Add-ons ranged from bok choy, and bean sprouts to a 'squeeze of lemon and some coriander'.

The flavourful taste and budget-friendly cost led this item to earn the label of the 'perfect lunch'.

The product is trending, causing shoppers to stock up, with some even dubbing it as the best lunch solution.

One person commented, ‘My partner is obsessed with these! They taste amazing.’

Another added, ‘I agree, it is b***** good!’

A third exclaimed, ‘I have tried all the favours. They were all very good. And at that price, I was very surprised.’

The product has spread its magic beyond just Facebook. Turning heads on other social media platforms, many followers showcased their versions of the lunch by transforming this instant snack into an easy-to-make meal.

'These noodles from ALDI will change your life.' a social media user named @gracemayrobinson declared.

While there has been a tsunami of positive feedback, a few cautionary voices emerged from the pack. Some critics have expressed concern over its nutritional profile, saying it had no nutritional value, and some even said they were not impressed by it.

However, despite a few criticisms, ALDI's $2 lunch idea remains a shining star in the budget culinary world.
