That was a scary walk for me because of the link chains and the very wet cold rainy weather and slippery trail. But the view from the top was so worth it.Glad you like it. I have quite a few memories of Tassie and this is one of my favourite places to visit.
I think I have covered every square inch of Tassie over the time that I was based (posted) there. Did the overland walk as well as Search and Rescue there on 2 occasions. There are some amazing places there as well as here on the "Great North Island" as they call it. Our country has some amazing places. That was a scary walk for me because of the link chains and the very wet cold rainy weather and slippery trail. But the view from the top was so worth it.

Aah yes the spider. It was part of our training in handling venomous snakes and spiders, though we don't get Funnel Webs where we live... not yet anyway. I did 28 years in the services and 10 with police, not as an officer but specialist. Now happily retired but seem to be busier than the past few yearsWhat did you do for a joband I just realized after I looked in your avatar your the guy with the spider.
