Needle threaders. They are still widely used today. Been around for my life time of 72 years, My Nan used them and I still use them,

YES!!!! Oh my! I need to get my hands on one of these again. These were introduced to me back when I was a little girl, trying to learn how to stitch. They definitely made life easier.

Still have a couple, the wire is getting a little rickety though. I normally pick up any little sewing kits that these in them.

Me. I just cannot thread a small eyed needle without one. I even use the needle threader on my sewing machine now. Lol
I do wish they could be made a bit stronger as the wire always seems to break.
But I always have a few to hand. ️ ️ ️

In my sewing room I need good scissors, an unpicker and a number of needle threaders. My daughter actually gave me 500 needle threaders for my birthday a couple of years ago, much cheaper to buy in bulk and a great gift for a happy sewer, they should last me till I am 100!!

I only bought a new packet (of 3) today in fact! I'm positive my needle eyes are shrinking every day

When my daughter was younger she stupidly decided to put one of these on her tongue, screaming through the house with needle threader firmly stuck. All I could do was laugh (& removed it still laughing) I asked her how did you do that? only for her to do it all over again.

Used one once or twice. Thought them very handy when threading a needle with a small eye.
