If able to walk, walking is a great all rounder. Otherwise if affordable, a treadmill, exercycle,(stationary) Tai Chi, Yoga.
 
As far as eating "chocky" is concerned, my dear mum used to eat 4 squares evey night after her dinner. When living in an age care facility, she had a box chockers full with all varieties of chockies to eat. Marshmellow bars incl. Didn't do her any harm at all. Living to 3 months shy of 102.

As the cliche goes, " What's good for the goose, is good for the gander".

That's why I keep up a reasonable supply of various varieties of same.
