Discover the Professional Cleaner's 'Secret Weapon' for Banishing Tough Oil Stains Forever!
- Replies 3
We're always on the lookout for cost-effective cleaning products that do their job well and leave our clothes, windows, and homes sparkling.
While there's no shortage of items that specialise in stain removal, one cleaner claims she has a top-notch recommendation that not many people know about...and it’s one her company developed!
Kacie Stevens, who runs The Big Clean Co, suggested For All as the perfect product for tackling tough oil stains on fabrics.
'This is a tip I haven't shared on social media before,' Kacie said in a TikTok post.
She went on to share that one day, an unfortunate client of hers had suffered a major wardrobe no-no.
‘She had just bought this brand-new PE Nation jumper,’ Kacie continued.
‘She ordered fish and chips… She was carrying [it], the oil came through the paper and onto her jumper and left an oil mark.’
Kacie claims the customer told her they tried the usual tricks to get rid of oil such as using laundry sprays and washing, but to no avail.
Enter For All, and the customer’s stain woes were solved, she said!
‘Why?’ Kacie asked while holding a bottle of her product. ‘Because this is a degreaser.’
A look at For All’s website, where it’s explicitly mentioned that it’s an offering of The Big Clean Co, reveals that the product is marketed as a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution that simplifies cleaning.
‘Did you know that every time you buy another cleaning product, you’re wasting money and contributing to the destruction of the environment by using and disposing of toxic and unnecessary chemicals and plastic?’ For All’s product page tells shoppers.
To The Big Clean Co’s credit, the use of cleaning products in the home can have a detrimental effect on the environment. The harsh, chemical-filled ingredients in many products can damage fragile ecosystems, increase air and water pollution, and lead to health risks for humans, plants, and animals.
It is essential, therefore, to be aware of the effects of cleaning products on the environment, and ensure that products are disposed of in the proper manner.
Whenever possible, it is a good idea to look for green alternatives or cleaning solutions that are made with natural ingredients. There are also numerous DIY recipes that can be used to make a safe and effective cleaner, avoiding the purchase and use of products with dangerous ingredients. By being conscious of the environmental impact of cleaning products, we can help to reduce damage and protect our planet.
Apparently, one bottle of For All can be used for many different things! You can use it as an all-purpose spray, laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, and to clean windows, cars, floors, grout, and even the oven.
But how about reviews?
On product review website Trustpilot, For All is mostly rated five stars with 85 per cent of reviews giving the highest ratings.
‘The most versatile cleaning product!’ a recent review read. ‘We did our entire bond clean with this product, my sceptical husband brought along a huge basket of chemicals to clean with and I said to him can we just try with this first before using any of it and we did not pick up another product once!’
‘Australia made. Great and easy formula. Amazing results,’ a second added.
A third said: ‘It really does what Kacie says, you can clean everything it does an awesome job, everyone always comments how clean my house looks & smells. I love that it is Aussie made, natural & vegan.’
Noticeably though there are a couple of negative reviews, with most low ratings complaining of delivery and order issues.
One reviewer claimed that using the product to clean their mirrors ‘left a residue no matter how many times [they] used it’.
Another review from someone who admitted regretting the purchase said it didn’t work as desired while cleaning their shower cubicle, and that the fragrance of ‘the pine version’ was ‘somewhat strong’.
Those interested may view and order For All here. The cleanser costs $23.95 for a litre.
Now, if you can’t be bothered to spend over $20, fret not!
There are a number of ways to treat oil stains at home, which include blotting the affected area with tissue or a paper towel (or applying talcum powder) to absorb excess oil or using laundry detergents with warm water to get rid of the stain.
