Discover the one appliance this Aussie mum used to transform her stained dining chairs!

Isn't it frustrating when your once beautiful and elegant dining chairs become dirty and grimy after years of use? This is an issue many may struggle with, especially after hosting countless family dinners and gatherings.

Luckily, one savvy Aussie mum found a brilliant solution to this common household problem – and all you need is one appliance to get the job done.

One resourceful Aussie mum recently demonstrated a quick, cost-effective and almost effortless trick to give her dining chairs a new lease on life.

The clever mum took to the popular Facebook group Mums Who Clean to share her astounding before and after photos, where her method of reviving and renewing her old, stained dining chairs caught the attention of hundreds of group members.

‘I am ashamed of how DIRTY the kitchen chairs got,’ the mum wrote in her post. In the photo she uploaded, you can see that the upholstery seats were covered with all kinds of stains and grime.

‘I had four kids in six years, so you can imagine lots of drink/food spillage happens,’ she explained.

She continued: ‘Note to self — clean the chairs more frequently than once every school holiday.’

According to her, she used the Bissell ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Carpet Cleaner in ‘spot clean mode’ to completely clean her dining chairs.

This carpet cleaner promises to be a versatile, user-friendly, and powerful cleaning tool that can remove spots and stains from your carpet and rugs. It also has a ‘Deep Clean Mode’, which offers powerful cleaning and dries carpets in under 30 minutes with the ‘Express Clean Mode’.

‘Previously, I had used just my spot cleaner, and it never cleaned as well as this one has!’ She claimed. After cleaning her dining chairs, she took a picture of the results and also uploaded it online.

In the second photo, the mum’s dining chairs are looking good as new, with no remnants of the stains or grime that once covered the seats.

Many were impressed with the results and expressed their delight in the comments section.

One wrote: ‘Holy s***, that’s a great transformation.’

‘Oh wow! Time to get one of these. My chairs are the same,’ someone replied.

Another agreed and said: ‘What an awesome result!!! Makes me want to clean!’

‘I bet you’d forgotten what colour they really were. It’s amazing how grime builds up over time, and with everything going on, we just don’t register it. That is such an impressive result,’ remarked another.

Other social media users who saw the post also recommended the appliance.

‘How good is this,’ someone shared.

One admitted that they had just bought the same appliance as the mum-of-four and were immediately engrossed in cleaning their carpets. ‘I love this machine!’ They added.

‘I did mine the other day too. How good,’ someone else agreed.

In line with this cleaning trick, if you have outdoor furniture, you can also transform them to look brand-new using an $11.50 cleaning product. This comes after an Aussie woman posted before and after photos of her old timber chairs online, showing how she revamped her scruffy, old wooden chairs to look fresh and clean.

‘I was stuck without a car, so I couldn’t go buy deck cleaner,’ she said. When asked which product she used as a substitute, she said: ‘Google says NapiSan is just as good, and I had that.’

The unlikely cleaning method shocked many social media users, with most of them saying they never knew NapiSan could be used on timber. You can read more details about the cleaning tip here.
