Savvy shopper @DadsMoneyHacks revealed the amazing trick on TikTok, sharing that the Everyday Pay function on the Everyday Rewards app allows members to score extra points.

For any members who are not aware of this new feature, Everyday Pay offers a speedy, convenient, and secure method for Woolworths shoppers to collect points from purchases and pay for their groceries without having to fumble for their cards at the register.

The feature, which was first launched in May last year, has been developed by Wpay, a company under the Woolworths Group that specialises in payments.

Aside from Woolworths shoppers, the feature can also be accessed by BIG W customers.

Explaining how the feature works, @DadsMoneyHacks said: ‘So Woolies has this thing tucked away in its Everyday Rewards app called Everyday Pay.’

‘What you do is you load your Everyday Rewards card in there and you load your credit or debit card - what you would normally pay with at Woolies with.’

He added that all you need to do is to scan the QR code when you get to the checkout with your phone and it'll take care of the payments and Everyday Rewards points for you!

‘What it does is it preloads your Everyday Rewards card and when you’re finished, you hit pay and it automatically deducts from that card,’ the shopper continued.

What’s more, you don’t have to worry about fumbling around for multiple cards at the checkout!

He remarked: ‘But the coolest thing is that right now, by paying that way at Woolworths, you’ll get double points on every single one of your shops.’

‘So it doesn’t matter what you buy, whether it’s $10 or $100, it’s the easiest way to get double those rewards points and those $10 off vouchers faster.’

It should be noted that the double-points promotion only runs until March 31, 2023, so you might want to take advantage of it before it ends!

Everyday Pay is just one of the many convenient features of the Everyday Rewards app, which also offers emails and notifications with a tailored rewards points system, weekly picks and discounts, and fuel savings.

The Everyday Rewards app is used by more than one million Australians every week, so don’t miss out on the amazing opportunities it offers.

I am hesitant to load my credit card information on my phone and prefer to use my credit card separately. I always use cash for my grocery shopping and credit card for any other purchases. Maybe I am being overcautious I dont know. Is anyone else feel this way?

I’ve been using my customer rewards using my phone for a couple of years. My granddaughter was so impressed, “how do you know how to do that” she says, I told her I was a technical grandma lol. I do intend to add my credit card at some stage, I just haven’t got round to it yet

I’ve been wanting to use everyday pay for ages but wasn’t sure how it worked. I’ve had my rewards card on my phone forever with my cards in my wallet app. Now I can use one app for both at woolies, much easier.thanks for the tip,👍

I do not have apps on my phone as I just have pay as you go, not a plan. I get frustrated when you are at the check out and it takes the person in front take 5 to 10 mins to find first the card for the store then the card to pay. They stand there scrolling through there phone. Give me a card anytime.
When I am about to be served I have my money in my hand to pay as I know how frustrating it is to be behind someone who fiddles around in their purse to find their wallet or card.

I don’t use my phone to pay, have no card or bank account details on my phone. I use physical cards for flybuys rewards and everyday rewards as it is quicker than scrolling through the phone looking for anything. I see people trying to find these cards on their phones, then often they have to transfer money to their card to pay, then they have to reset their phone a couple of times before the card is accepted by eftpos machine, it is very annoying being stuck behind these people waiting for them to finish at the checkout. Sometimes technology is much slower than old fashioned ways of doing things.
