That's why Kmart customers across Australia are excited about a new cooling gadget perfect for summer!
The Evaporative Cooler Rechargeable—which retails for $19—has been hailed a ‘godsend’ and treated by many as the perfect air con alternative.
This personal cooling device has two ice packs, a USB cord, a mobile phone holder, three adjustable speeds (low, medium and high), and a rechargeable battery lasting up to five hours.
Plus, the device isn't just great for hot days spent indoors—many have been taking it with them when they go camping, as well.
Queensland mum Jodie was one of the lucky ones who got their hands on the coveted coolers in time for the summer.
'If you don't have air con, you should check this out,’ she said in a video posted on social media.
‘I actually bought it for my son because his bedroom is really hot, but it's really handy for my desk, [too].'
The cooler received several positive reviews online, with most customers saying it 'does the job'.
‘My mum has no air-conditioning. She got the Kmart evaporative cooler...and she said it’s been a godsend. She rents, so it’s the best she can do,’ one said.
‘Definitely works, especially if you put ice packs in the water section,’ another commented.
One revealed: 'As long as the humidity is low, the cooler will do a reasonable job. Make sure there is airflow (open some shaded windows or something) through the house while it's on, or it will get very humid.'

One shopper shared her ‘Best Bunnings Buys’ and how it's improved their sleep and comfort levels during the warm summer nights in her video online.
‘I’ve just bought the best little thing from Bunnings that you could ever get,’ one shopper said.
‘It’s changed my life.’
The cooler can also be used with water, an ice pack or dry.
‘It can be dry as a fan, with cold water, cold water with ice pack, or you can put ice cubes in,’ she explained.
‘You don’t have to refill it...it just acts as a fan. But cool water lasts a couple of hours. The ice block makes it hold less water.’
The shopper said she had used this on her bedside table and even facing her pillow to keep her cool.
