This year will be my most exciting present ever. It's the first time we will be celebrating with the son, daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughter. 1 daughter has had to work every year (hospitality worker) and our great granddaughter is nearly 2 so she will be extra excited. This will be a memorable day for me 🎄🎅

I was always fascinated by dolls, still am as a matter of fact. I had many dolls growing up, big ones, small ones, blinking eyes, open mouths. The very best doll I ever received was the Christmas when I was 12 years old. My mother gave me her doll, which she had been given when she was 12.
she was the most beautiful doll I had ever seen. Her arms, hands and legs were jointed, her eyes opened and closed, and she was dressed in a gorgeous pink organza dress. I still have her, she has pride of place sitting on a chair in my bedroom. I have no idea of her monetary worth, I only know she is precious to me.
She’s very old now, perhaps almost 100 years old. She will be passed onto my first granddaughter ( I had 3 sons) and hopefully will be passed on again.
A doll, who would have thought she could bring such wonderful memories.

Christmas morning 1981. I can still remember it like it was yesterday! The sight of my husband coming down the corridor of the maternity unit I was in, with 8 year old son, and 5 year old daughter in tow, carrying a bed sheet full of Christmas gifts to open up! I had just given birth to a beautiful boy on Christmas Eve, all 9lb 4oz of him! The maternity staff had set up a Christmas tree in my room, and Santa had visited our new son as well, with a pair of knitted booties placed at the end of his crib! The elation of a new baby born to us just in time for Christmas was indescribable! Since then we had another daughter in 1983, (an Easter baby) , and now have 10 gorgeous grandchildren. Our Christmas baby is now an amazing Dad himself and a Police Officer working in outback Qld. He has also been the recipient of Qld Emergency services Everyday Heroes Award, nominated by people in the remote and rural communities he has worked in..every Christmas has been special for our large family, but Christmas 1981 was one especially so..🎄😁🎁🌟
There were so many amazing entries, and we loved reading each and every one. Thank you all for entering; it was such a pleasure to share in these Christmas memories!

There can only be one winner, and this month, it goes to... member @goatwhisperer. You can read their winning entry above. You have won a $100 voucher to any store on Prezzee.

Merry Christmas! 🎄

Congratulation, It his always a great feeling when a new child enters a family, my second son weighed 10 lbs 10 ozs.
Wow, that's one big bubba! My 2 daughters weighed in at 6lb 1oz and 6lb 3oz. Then along comes along my son at 9lb 3oz! I can still hear the echoes of my missus screaming in the maternity ward yelling out "GET THIS F**KING THING OUT OF ME!" 🤣

Yes he had a good start in life, but after 17- 1/2 years in the RAAF he had a stupid accident on parade one morning, the girl in front of him Fainted and Ian bent forward to save her hitting the concrete and did so much damage to his back that he is now a cripple.
