I was partly amused to see these 2 items one after the other in today's newsletter.

• CHOICE revealed the cheapest and best peanut butter on the market. Which brand came out on top?
• Experts warned us that this everyday pantry staple is ‘among the most toxic foods out there’

@Placid If you're going to poison yourself with peanut butter, you might as well pick the tastiest and cheapest option...

You're right, Jonathon. When I was a kid, my neighbours taught me that peanut butter and honey go extremely well together.
I'm now 78 and it's still a staple diet of mine, either fresh bread or toast.
I prefer creamed honey to the runny stuff. Brilliant snack.
