Mikev, fun loving cheeky cat ! ! Boo!
I had no idea how loveable & affectionate cats could be until a dark striped tabby female cat who’d been left behind by neighbours, adopted me She’d see me sitting enjoying some sun, she’d cross the road, climb up the tree next to our first floor balcony, meow as if to introduce herself & sit on the other chair, enjoy some patting, accept a drink of water & treats. I bought a toy she could chase with great gusto all around the lounge room, up over the lounge, under the table, high jumps, like a perfect hunter.
Within no time she decided to stay. Slowly the beautiful relationship grew. We enjoyed lots of fun on walks, she’d walk next to me as I talked, she’d meow & look up at me, it was such fun.
Every now & then she’d scamper ahead & hide in a bush, jumping out as I pretended to be shocked, just ahead she’d climb up & down a small tree with so much energy. Having back problems, I needed daily time out to lay flat on my bed, up she’d jump laying on my chest, a gentle soft touch, her paw touching my face. Her beautiful head rubbing back & forth under my jaw, then the purring would start as she marched gently with her paws. It gave me comfort, especially when my husband travelled away on business.
She wasn’t keen on being brushed, but her part persian fur needed daily brushing. I called her Baby, it was fitting to the relationship we shared. I think she was about 3 when we found each other. I loved her for 9 special years til she died from a pituitary cancer. 💝🥰

It’s sad that some people dislike pets. They never get to know how special animals can be. 💝

I couldn't be without my cats. Our little Missy never grew up, she has stayed kitten sized but damn that girl rules the roost, even our large male cat Bilbo hides when she's on a rampage. But watching them interact with each other is priceless, especially when they are affectionate, washing each others ears is so cute.
