It's a wonder why people still fall victim.
I'm a CBA customer. They had a free seminar talking about banking scams at my local branch that I was more than happy to attend. It was excellent. Should see more of them from CBA and other banks. Mind you, there were only 40 odd customers who took them up on the offer. Shame that, because they gave out heaps of useful information. They are also very pro-active about warning customers not to do this, or do that.
Most banks will say they NEVER ask for details by email or SMS. Yet, people still press those links.

Maybe it might be good if one or all of the banks put out videos about banking scams....that might gain the interest of their customers a bit more......the more information that they can put out the better off their customers will be in keeping up to date.
