Choo-choo bar

Do you remember these sugary, chewy, and oh-so-delicious treats that couldn’t be resisted back in the day? They were the perfect snack to munch on during a double feature, which would last the entire show. Did you ever buy one from the school tuck shop at lunchtime and then carefully wrap it back up, saving it for later? Sure, it was a teeth breaker, but it was worth every bite. Who else has fond memories of this classic Australian treat?

It is still available.

I remember Choo Choo bars they were
jaw breakers but so worth it we used to
buy them at the tuck shop to take home
for an afternoon snack, they probably wouldn’t be allowed to eat them today
too much sugar, great memories of
something that is no longer around.

Yes it is . Dollar Shop $2.50 share pack.

I loved them. Mum banned them. 😪 We still ate them. Only trouble was that she knew when we had as our mouths were black.
You can still buy them but they don't taste the same.

I remember them too - and loved them - the packaging and the box made you want to buy one, and once tried you kept buying them - i used cool drink bottles to buy my sweets, when i had some!

A great lolly shop opposite my school ( Chatswood ).
Spent a lot of money there.
No wonder my teeth are sooooo bad now
