It's no secret that dressing young and keeping fit can help you feel revitalised, but is it possible to look almost identical to your children and grandchildren due to your fitness routine?

Well, one awe-inspiring grandmother has the answer to that, and she's sharing her 'anti-ageing' workout secrets.

Usually, a simple family photo doesn't cause too much confusion, but in the case of Lesley Maxwell, her daughter, Vanessa Christofi, and granddaughter, Tia Christofi, things aren't as straightforward.

This dazzling trio often leaves bystanders flabbergasted, unable to tell one from the other.

Astounding 65-year-old grandmother, Lesley Maxwell, a professional bodybuilder hailing from Melbourne, Australia, often gets mistaken for her 22-year-old granddaughter's mum.

If you're wondering why, it's because Lesley has apparently cracked the code looking young thanks to her 'anti-ageing' workout.

This grandmother shared that the secret to looking practically ageless, and it involves a conscious lifestyle choice, regular weight training, discipline, and of course, a love for fitness.

Lesley, her daughter, and granddaughter synchronise routines, challenging themselves with the same weights, making it a family affair both in and out of their gym attire.

Lesley also revealed that whenever she’s working, people are shocked to find out she is a grandmother.

'I guess it is a little out of the ordinary to think a grandmother is doing deadlifts and chin-ups in the gym,' Lesley said.

'However, I'd recommend weight training to women of all ages as there are so many health benefits to training this way.'

But believe it or not, Lesley recommends weight training to women of all ages, stating that it's her 'anti-ageing' solution. Apart from strengthening bones, weight training helps in toning her body by adding muscles.

'I usually do four weight training sessions a week, plus as I'm a trainer and in the gym most days, you could say I get some incidental exercise as I'm often carrying the weights or “spotting” my clients,' Lesley shared.

'I also do some exercise demonstrations, so I guess that also helps.'

'We always have a wonderful time together chatting, having a laugh and training. I'm so blessed to have such a lovely family,' she added.

'I'm lucky I get to share clothes with my daughter and granddaughter. When we do shoots together, most of the clothes come from Tia's wardrobe. She loves doing the styling and colour coordinating us.'

Tia, an equally fit and health-conscious young woman who owns her own social media marketing agency, seizes every chance to stay active through cheerleading and working out in the gym. She also shared that people often mistake her grandmother for her mother.

'They're taken back when I correct them and tell them she is my grandmother. I film my grandmother and I working out, and people love to see it,' Tia said.

'She's 43 years my senior, and we both lift weights and follow the same workout routine while dressed in similar apparel. It was a video that went viral.'

'I love spending time with my mum and my grandmother. We motivate and inspire each other during our training sessions.'

Of course they're timeless! There's at least a couple of boob jobs and lip fillers, and who knows what else. We'd all look that young if we went under the knife!
