CABBAGE PATCH DOLL​

This is absolute truth. Back in the heyday of kids toys in the 70’s, my brother bought his daughter a “Cabbage Patch” doll for Xmas. They came with a birth certificate and a lifetime warranty. After about 18 months, it’s both arms became detached. As per the guarantee regulations, My brother sent a letter off to the manufacturer explaining what had happened. They sent him back a death certificate for the doll. The written explanation “Warranty expires upon death”.
