Boy or girl​

Cribside Curiosity
Two babies were lying in their cribs during nap time when one turned to the other and asked,
“Hey… are you a little girl or a little boy?”
The second baby blinked. “Hmm... I’m not really sure.”
The first baby looked surprised. “What do you mean you’re not sure?”
“I mean... nobody's told me yet,” the second baby said with a shrug.
“Well, I’ll come take a look!” the first baby announced confidently.
He clumsily climbed out of his crib, toddled over, and peeked under the blanket in the other crib. After a moment of inspection, he popped back up with a proud grin.
“You’re a little girl, and I’m a little boy!” he said triumphantly.
The other baby gasped. “Whoa! That’s amazing! But… how can you tell?”
He smiled wide and said, “Easy. You’ve got pink socks, and I’ve got blue ones!”
Relax—what were you thinking? It’s just socks!
