One of the greatest pleasures that life has to offer is peanut butter. From bread to bananas, you can put it on almost anything and it’ll make things taste better almost every single time.
In addition, a serving size of peanut butter contains approximately 8 grams of protein and a great deal of healthy fats, both of which help you feel full for a longer period of time throughout the day.
If you are someone who enjoys using chunky peanut butter, there is a good chance that you are familiar with the agony that comes along with trying to spread it on toast and then having the bread fall apart as a result.
That is probably why Bega, the brand that is responsible for the iconic peanut butter jar with the yellow lid that can be found in most Australian pantries, is introducing a revolutionary new packaging design for peanut butter fans here in the country.

Simply Nuts natural peanut butter, which is produced entirely from peanuts sourced from Australia, is going to be offered soon in a new "shake-n-squeeze" bottle – available in both smooth and crunchy varieties.
Toast with peanut butter just got a whole lot easier!
According to Jacqui Roth, the marketing manager at Bega Food Spreads, the naturally occurring peanut oil in their natural peanut butter products "can get messy" when consumers try to get the spread out of a jar with a knife.
As a result, they devised an alternative approach for the packaging design, which ensures that this will no longer be an issue.
Early consumer feedback indicates that peanut butter lovers appreciate the new packaging because it not only eliminates the mess but also makes it much easier to apply to a snack or squeeze into a satay stir-fry.
Bega paid a visit to the Rackemann family on their peanut farm, which has been in the family for four generations. The peanuts grown on this farm are the primary ingredient of the Australian spread.
"It's truly revolutionary. We thought we'd seen it all when it came to peanuts, but it turns out... we hadn't," Cam Rackemann said.

Bega predicts that the season's peanut harvest will be roughly 75% complete across Queensland by the first week of winter.
"While the last stage of our peanut harvest here in Coalstoun Lakes has been slightly hampered by the recent rain, we're holding out for the sunshine so that we can close out this year's harvest," Mr Rackemann said.
"Nothing makes us happier than producing a good crop of peanuts for the country to enjoy," patriarch Mark Rackemann added.
For over 60 years, Port Melbourne has been producing the iconic spread that many people enjoy on their morning toast or lovingly placed in a lunch box.
As a show of the company's passion and commitment to the Australian peanut industry, Simply Nuts all-natural peanut butter was introduced by the brand in 2019.
Simply Nuts, in its redesigned packaging, will be available in Coles supermarkets and select independent stores across the country by the end of June of this year.
Are you looking forward to this new packaging, folks? We sure are!
