Bargain hunters spot X-rated detail in $1 item from the Shaver Shop — 'Wow, you’ll get some real bang for your buck!'

Shopping for bargains is one of our favourite pastimes here at the SDC. Whether we're shopping online or in person, we love finding ways to save a few bucks where we can.

But every now and then, we come across a deal that is just too good to be true – like this one from Shaver Shop.

The item in question is the Personal Touch Full-Size Wireless Wand — which, according to the Shaver Shop website, 'creates the best therapeutic massage' and relaxes the body.

Bargain hunters were completely taken by surprise when they discovered that item was recently discounted to only $1 from its original price of $129.95. That's practically giving the item away for free!

Additionally, a photo of the Personal Touch massager, which is sold exclusively by the retail giant, quickly went viral on social media after one customer shared a snap of their find.

And if you think that the product made the rounds on social media because of the massive savings you can get from the sale, then you are mistaken...

The users were shocked when they spotted the item looked similar to a sex toy, prompting them to do a double take before realising that it was, in fact, a massager for pain relief.

One person wrote: 'I just think of Sex and the City and Samantha.'

'Wow, you’ll get some real bang for your buck,' another joked.

Several users also pointed out that the description of the item did not help in preventing people from making explicit jokes about it.

According to the product's website, the massager is 'whisper quiet and splash-proof'. Those aren’t our words!

'So there's no concern about perspiration or water interrupting your massage,' the description read.

Others wrote more explicit comments about the item, with some asking if the product has 'other uses'.

One user exclaimed: 'This is why I love Facebook! Just saw this… This looks more like a sexual aid than a leg massager!'

'So, does it vibrate?' asked another.

A third chimed in: 'I can’t stop laughing.'

While many are poking fun at the product's apparent similarity with a sex toy, some users who use the item praised it for being efficient.

One comment read: 'Funny looking, raises eyebrows, but helps my foot.'

Regardless of the jokes, the sale of the item seemed to be a success as it is now sold out from Shaver Shop.

Well, now we know what this particular item looks like, but we want to know what you think! Do you think it looks like a sex toy? Or is everyone taking the mickey?
