BABY HEALTH CLIMICS
I took both my children to council run baby health clinic (1986 & 1992). Amazing help and information past on by the nurses who ran it, especially for the first one when I really wasn’t sure what to do on several occasions! I feel sorry that new mothers, these days, don’t have the same opportunities to learn in comfortable, non-judgmental surroundings.

The nurse used to come to me when I lived on a farm.
One I visited with my first when I lived in a town was my
visiting nurse when I had my fourth. When she arrived
it was surprise to both of us.
