Campsie post office closed maybe a year ago and I was shocked when it closed . Whenever I went in the line up was huge.

The kingsgrove post office has been there for years and is right next door to the commonwealth bank, although the times I have gone in it was always empty. I usually go to the kingsgrove post office opposite bunnings at Richland Pde kingsgrove.

I wonder how many more post-office will close. I know letter delivery has cut but I feel with all online buying parcels have increased.
My postman still works 5 days but delivers small parcels one day a letters on alternative days. Letters delivered 2 days one week and 3 days the following week

with post offices closing, perhaps the Directors $100,000 to $200,00+ yearly renumeration plus expenses and meetings need to be reduced .
add the CE0 and Managers renumeration/bonases.

After building massive Sorting centres, with equipment, in each State costing multi million/billion dollars , of course Auspost is running at a loss.
The increasing high cost of postage, minimum reduction of bulk billing also contributes to a loss, as posting anything is too expensive
and most businesses in Australia cannot afford the high postage.
no wonder chinese goods, with free postage are thriving.

also transporting by trucks, instead of containers on trains (across the Nullabor ) also contributes to the loss and road damage.
the postage of a parcel to Ravensthorpe and Queensland cost the same - perhaps pricing costs need an overall,
I know location of Post boxes do.

With bank branch closures and now post offices, where do we undertake everyday business such as paying bills, withdrawing cash and applying for loans.

I may as well apply for a $500000 loan online and unsighted with a stolen identity! FMD!

Well lets all face "Simple Simon" facts.

Some how money has to be saved to pay the way for the complete nut case "Bo-Bo Bowen with his uncontrolled wasting money left, right & centre & not having to account. Then the "Nutters" also under Albo, Chalmers & Wong "The Dong", throwing millions of our cash at the "Indigenous Cause", to the "Terrorists" in Gaza without any consultation & accountability.

With that, there's no funds left for the "Needs" of our population for every day services.
Plainly, just bugger the citizens, &, let them all fend for themselves.
"Stiff Shit", everyone. Suffer in silence.

So, the shutting down of post offices is one simple decision to save a few bucks to help pay for all of the forever ongoing "Stupidity" in the highest degree. They have to find the money somewhere.

I'm glad we're "Not Guilty" your honour, for voting these "Rat Bags" back in power.

I am shocked that the Revesby PO is closing. Revesby is a bustling little community and a significant rail junction. Revesby still has each of the main banks. My local branch closed some years ago and all of my accounts were moved to the Revesby branch. We travel to Revesby to do our banking when needed which is about 25 km away from our home. We have a wander around the shops and have lunch at one of the cafes and we make a day out of it. Soon there will be no services left in many communities. The heart and sole is being ripped out of them.

My daughter lives in Panania and shops in Revesby and we go maybe once a month to buy meat pies from the bakery in Revesby. It used a busy shopping centre and the main one around a very large area.
I did however have trouble finding it. I thought it was close to the station but is actually in a side street
