Are you a horror fan? šŸ‘»

Hello, members! This Sunday, I (Sethia) am planning to go to the cinema and watch The Nun II! Anyhow, this left me wondering, are there any other horror fans out there who just can't resist a good, scary movie? If so, what's a horror movie you'd recommend to me?

My favourite horror movie at the moment is Incantation, followed by Hereditary. These are the only two movies that really kept me up all night. If you're brave enough, you can watch the trailer of Incantation below:

Now, I'd love to hear your favourites!

Well, some of you are probably too young to remember when this movie came out,but The Exorcist was the movie that scared me to the point that I couldn't sleep that night after seeing it. I've watched it a few times since then and you realise how well made it was.

The Exorcist has to be at the top of the list. Knowing this can and have happened to people.

Filmed entirely through webcams, a group of friends perform an online sƩance and accidentally invite a demonic presence into their homes. Savage uses simple tricks to conjure up genuinely nasty scares in a gripping runtime of just under an hour. Zoom meetings will never be the same again.

Texas Chain Saw Massacre ...the first one made in the 70s is the scariest

Many argue that modern horror films are always scarier, but thatā€™s not the case when it comes to 1974ā€™s ā€ŠThe Texas Chainsaw Massacre The film sees Leatherface and his cannibal family hunt down a group of unsuspecting hitchhikers for the first time, with mean and bloody results.

Thanks to its balance of sheer dread and extreme gore, it was banned in several countries when first released, and is still considered one of the scariest movies of all time to this day. Disgusting and remarkably impressive for its time, it is certainly not for the faint of heart.

There were 9 films made and based on a real killer. Sort of watched the first one but too bloody for me and I like scary moviesšŸ™€

If you've ever sat in front of a horror movie (especially a teen-splatter movie) and said "why are these kids so dumb?" Like, why are they walking round in the dark, with no shoes on and basically ignoring every sensible option, then I would recommend Cabin in the Woods. It was good, fun horror and for me it explained the behaviour or every one of those silly teenagers.
