I had a look at this one Jonathon, without attempting it. There was one major problem for me in that I couldn't read the clue numbers on the grid, too small and quite blurred. (even with a magnifying glass) If I can also be bold enough to offer critique, there are not enough cross words to provide extra letter clues. ie 7 or 8 letter words with just a starting or ending letter makes any crossword difficult, My apologies if you are the creator as they are not easy to do. cheers.. Hey VT - good feedback, thanks. I'm not the creator so I take no offence, and even if I was I think getting honest feedback is really important.

Increasing the number of hints is something that should be pretty easy to fix I think. As for increasing the size of the numbers on the grid - that's definitely doable too but might be a bit of extra work. Will keep you posted.

Ok - *definitely* need more hints then...

Are there any examples of really well designed crosswords you guys can point to? Not the specific content, the layout etc...

Thanks for sharing the crossword link. I just gave it a shot, and I must say, I had a blast with the TV and Movies theme. It brought back some nostalgic memories, and I love how it challenged my knowledge of classic shows and films. By the way, speaking of crosswords, I recently came across an article about crossword celebrities that had some neat tips and tricks to improve my crossword-solving skills. It was an interesting read!
