Amazon Prime members enjoy new perk—check your eligibility

The world of online shopping is continuously evolving. For those who appreciate the convenience of having their purchases delivered straight to their doorstep, Amazon has just sweetened the deal for its Sydney-based Prime members.

In a move that's set to revolutionise the online shopping experience, Amazon has introduced free same-day delivery for over one million items, catering to the fast-paced lifestyle of modern consumers.

If your order totals over $49, you can now enjoy receiving your items before 10 pm on the same day, provided you place your order before the midday cut-off.

This service covers 'over 90 per cent' of Sydney's population.

To take advantage of this super-fast delivery, customers can quickly identify eligible items by looking for products marked with 'Today by 10 pm' or the 'Prime Same-Day' badges on the product detail pages.

‘We are (really) proud of the range of products that are eligible for same-day delivery, meaning that you can get everything from a torch for your family camping trip to a water bottle for kids' footy practice,’ Amazon Australia country manager Janet Menzies announced.

Amazon plans to broaden its range of products and increase the areas eligible for same-day and one-day delivery.

Free delivery within two days is still available for Prime members in regions not covered by these expedited options.

This follows Amazon's earlier expansion of its Prime Free One-Day Delivery service to Brisbane, Geelong, Gosford, Newcastle, and Wollongong customers earlier this year.

Over one million products across various categories are now available for this service. You can read more about this development here.

Amazon don't actually try or test any of the products they sell/deliver, Amazon is just a "middle man" company, same as a real estate agent. They just on sell third party supplier's goods.
