I think it was an underground carpark for Hurstville Council.
I had never gone there but it was on the corner of Dora St and McMahon St where the council is.
I only know this as I was picking my son up from Hurstville Oval with my aunt and she pointed out that's where she used to go every Saturday night and it was then known as the tivoli then it was known as Hurstville Civic centre

Yep! The ceiling was low enough you could jump and touch it. Having 10000 watts in such an environment did wonders for the eardrums!
