A small semi-rural suburb of Adelaide and lies to the west of Echunga. Jupiter Creek was a gold mining area in the late 1800s and early 1900s, but without any significant finds, and has numerous mine sites. Any facilities you might be seeking must be sought from Echunga or further afield to Hahndorf or Mt Barker.
Echunga does have a good pub

Alawoona, 5311

Alawoona is a small town in the Murray Mallee and established as one of the original sidings during the construction of the Barmera railway line in 1906, 76.5 miles (123.1 km) from Tailem Bend. Soon after, Alawoona became a junction when the spur line to Loxton was built.
A census undertaken in the early 2000s showed the population of 250.
