ALDI’s unbelievable kitchen sale starts just in time for Christmas

The magic of ALDI’s aisles is something that nearly every Australian shopper knows and loves. It's a treasure trove of unexpected finds, from insulated picnic baskets perfect for summer outings to fluffy mats that your furry friends will adore.

This time, ALDI has outdone itself with a spectacular kitchen appliances Special Buys range that will make your Christmas cooking a breeze!

Starting from just $19.99, the range includes an impressive selection of 15 kitchen appliances that cater to every culinary need. Whether you're a seasoned home cook or a beginner in the kitchen, there's something for everyone.

Speaking of chilled drinks, for the iced coffee aficionados trying to cut down on their café spending, the Iced Coffee Maker, available for $49.99, is a must-have. It can brew coffee over ice in about 4 minutes with two brew settings. That’s not all! It also comes with a dual-wall insulated tumbler and a straw, too.

But the magic doesn't stop there. Why stop at homemade iced coffee? Another summertime treat you can have right at home is ice cream. Luckily, ALDI has something to help with that!

Priced at $39.99, you can enjoy fresh ice cream or sorbet to your heart’s content with the Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker! It has a 1-litre insulated freezer bowl and can operate for 40 minutes! All you need to do is pull down its lever to get a serve of the good stuff.

Aside from the abovementioned products, ALDI also has other noteworthy Special Buys up for grabs. Here's a glimpse:

The ALDI Kitchen Appliances Special Buys range will be available in the middle aisle starting Wednesday, December 20. But remember, ALDI's Special Buys are famous for selling out fast, so make sure you get in quick!

For those unfamiliar with ALDI's Special Buys, it's a unique retail strategy that has helped the German supermarket chain carve out a niche in the competitive Australian market.

Every Wednesday and Saturday, ALDI releases a range of products at low prices. These items, known as Special Buys, span various categories, from homewares and gardening equipment to clothing and electronics.

The catch? These items are only available in limited quantities and for a limited time. Once they're gone, they're gone.

This creates a sense of urgency among shoppers, who often line up outside stores before they open to snag the best deals.

While some have criticised this strategy for encouraging impulse buying, others say it's undeniably effective. ALDI's Special Buys have become a major drawcard for the supermarket, generating buzz and driving foot traffic to stores.

So, whether you're a regular ALDI shopper or a first-timer lured in by the promise of a bargain, remember to shop wisely. Make a list of what you need, set a budget, and resist the temptation to buy items you don't really need, no matter how good the deal seems.

Key Takeaways

  • ALDI has launched a new Special Buys range of kitchen appliances ahead of Christmas.

Last Christmas at about this time I bought 6 x Turkey Breast Roasts at $14 each. About 1 month ago they released the roasts again and I bought another 6 x Turkey Breast Roasts for $18 each. I now note in their catalogue that they have Turkey Breast Roasts for $25 each.

This time last year 6 cost me $84, a month ago 6 cost me $108 and now if I was to buy 6 again from their catalogue it would cost me $150.

Mmm! Wonder why the increase??? Needless to say, I will not be buying them.

I find from experience that other than food items Aldi sells junk
I bought the knife sharpener many years ago for $15 and it went OK but needed a higher wattage motor. It didn't die on me but got lost in transit in my house moves since.

My go to knives are usually Baccarat or Mondial brand which have also disappeared. But then about 12 months ago, I bought a unbranded $2.00 knife from a cheapie shop in Dandenong Plaza. Amazing! Sharp as the day I bought it as I use it daily for food preparation. But alas, the cheapie shop has gone to make way for some stupid Cotton-On "Megastore"!

ALDI is the BEST ...... Love Love Aldi, they never disappoint/ed me. ♥♥ Thanks to ALDI, I can eat better for much less than at other supermarkets.

Inflation, exchange rate, will suggest they are fully imported. PS: check the weight of the catalogue ones against those of the more recent purchase. Maybe comparing apples with oranges.

Hi Veggiepatch, I, am also in Dandenong and I know the great cheapie shop that you are talking about.
It has reopened further down on level 2. The shop now is not as big but it still has lots of the items that it always sold. The young girl who runs the store can always tell you were an item is, as it is now very cramped.

Thanks!! I'll have a look. I'm at the Plaza almost every day, supporting my latest addiction - grocery shopping!
